The best piece of Wardle we have ever had. A rather amazing vase with slip trail decoration consisting of two large bats, a crescent moon, clouds, stars and apple trees laden with fruit all done in the style introduced by Frederick Hurten Rhead around 1900 before coming to America. Impressed Wardle England on the bottom. Height 12 1/2 inches. Large, impressive, complex, colorful and most of all, fun.
